Mace of Acrid Death ¡§C Item ¡§C World of Warcraft

It is really an EXCELLENT weapon for Prot Warriors, slow, has parry and mastery, and it is a mace, which benefits 2 races (1hand sword does exactly the same, but gnomes cant tank >:D)

Its acceptable for paladins too. Warriors do like parry for Contain the Line, but it doesnt affect item selection that much. Youll still wish to have roughly equal amounts of dodge and parry due to the diminishing returns.

On the related point, a warrior tank using Contain the Line to assert priority on pieces like this is, not to put too fine a point onto it, really saying "Give me the loot".

Hold the lines are nice to be sure, but it's in no way a justification to consider gear over a paladin. How would you feel if paladins started claiming priority on Dodge items because "warriors prefer parry"?

It grinds my gears after i see most of these arguments, and Im a warrior. This isnt Thottbot, stop posting which class its "better" for.

Yes this is the best shield tank weapon. But unfortunately This is the only weapon at lvl 359 which drops from Maloriak. No other boss in BOT and BWD and 4 winds drop a pally/warrior tank weapon. Need less to express all shield tanks will prefer it, Our raid combination is a DK tank and me pally tank, I suppose I'll have it whether it drops,So good luck hunting Maloriak

AlAkir also drops a 359 STR/STA based sword. Given his random suffix assignment, its possible that one will be a tank suffix. I guess there havent been enough drops yet to get all of the info on it though.

Im not 100% sure that the item itself is certain to be STR/STA with a suffix. The one which I saw just been, I suppose.

P.S How can you create a link a clickable url on this forum? My slick phpbb tactics are under awesome here.

Back in the day, before Blood was the dedicated tank tree for Death Knights, this weapon would have been ideal for a Dual Wield Frost Death Knight tank. But, alas this really is now. Only idiot Death Knights would make use of this.

"Whats wrong with this" is that its a 1 handed weapon, and therefore the DK would have to dual wield them, and destroy his threat for that reason.

I know you believe your $14.99 per month entitles you to definitely play the way you would like but the rest of the raids $359.76 thinks you need to know your role.

I'm a tank. So, believe me when i state, Im not trolling you, I genuinely wish to help you. If you are dual-wielding as a blood DK tank, and it is working for you, you need to find another raid, since the DPS in that raid isnt working. Believe me.

Really, dual-wield tanking was fail to begin with, but thats another issue. Dont make me stage an intervention.

I dont really think he believes that death knights can tank with this particular, but hes simply looking back with fond memories

This is a great weapon for tanks using 1-handers. Ferals may prefer Malevolence and together with WOW Gear may prefer Akirus the Worm-Breaker (but both have to contend with DPS roles on their behalf.) Shield tanks may also findmace of acrid death great use in Soul Blade if they have the cash to buy or manage to win it from The Bastion of Twilight trash mobs.

Paladin and Warrior tanks alike will benefit from it if upgrading from the blue-quality weapon. Hold the Line is not really a free "dibs" call for warrior tanks on items with Parry, anymore than it as being a mace is a free "dibs" require a Human or Dwarf due to their Mace Specialization/Mace Specialization racial abilities. While these classes or races may get a small little more out of the item, it is still among the best available tank weapons for other shield tanks.

Man up; win the loot with a roll, your WOW Item Level, or whatever. Dont attempt to get special treatment depending on class or race simply to sate your purple fever. Its a poor way to make friends and build teams. Instead ¡§C congratulate the winner if you lose and move ahead. Maybe theyll are able to settle you for your action later on.
